“She had the tenacity of Boadicea and the Kindness of Florence Nightingale!”
Sue was a kind and loving person who would help anyone in need. She was a caring mother to her 4 children and 8 grandchildren. As well as her large family, she was a devoted wife to her husband Tor. She was always there for him through thick and thin, and was there to support him when he suffered from PTSD after serving for 12 years in the army. Tor fondly remarked, “Sue was always busy and the only time she sat down for a rest was to watch Emmerdale and Doctors.”
Unfortunately, Sue was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, which she bravely fought until the very end. She passed away peacefully with her family around her at Cransley Hospice in Kettering.
Sue’s family knew that she wasn’t the kind of person to want a fuss made over her, so a Neo direct cremation service was the simple yet respectful send-off Tor chose for her. The Neo team were able to support Tor through a difficult time, by updating him everystep of the way. Now that Sue’s ashes have been safely returned to her family, they plan to scatter her ashes in Blackpool at a date of their choosing.
“Sue is sadly missed by many of her family and friends but will remember the good times we had with her.”
